How does aquafacial work?
The real heart of the treatment is Hydradermabrasion, an evolution of microdermabrasion. In addition to moisturizing and skin-care ingredients, the intelligent treatment head uses a vacuum to generate eddy currents that draw out any impurities still on the skin from the pores. This mixture creates a very mild peeling that removes excess oil from the skin and prepares it for subsequent, long-lasting moisturizing care.

How exactly does an AquaFacial treatment work?Â
The exact treatment process depends, of course, on the individual needs and preferences of your skin. The following five steps are required for all skin care programs after our unique Aquafacial System analyzes your skin:
1. Mild cleansing
We start our care program with a mild cleansing milk to remove daytime make-up.
2. Peeling
In the second phase of the procedure, dead skin cells are removed, preparing the skin for the third phase of the treatment.
3. Ultrasound
In the Venus & Apoll-Studio studio in Eisenach, in the third stage of the AquaFacial procedure, loose skin cells are removed with a special tool called a “Shovel Knife”, which is done using ultrasound technology.
4. Down to the pores
The fourth step is the actual AquaFacial treatment. The skin, which has been thoroughly pre-treated up to this point, is now literally cleansed “deep into the pores”. A combination of water jets and vacuum technology removes any sebum from the skin. Even deep-seated impurities are removed and stubbornly clogged pores are thoroughly cleaned.
5. Supplying essential nutrients and moisture
In the fifth step, the thoroughly cleansed skin is supplied with important nutrients and moisture. This is ensured by the treatment head, which uses ultrasound waves to inject a valuable serum into the skin. The result is deep nourishment for the skin.
6. Ergebnis
You can now look forward to smooth, radiant skin and a youthful complexion. Additional treatments can be added depending on your individual needs and preferences. The previous treatment made the skin particularly receptive. This significantly increases the effectiveness of subsequent anti-aging treatments.
Upgrades to AquaFacial treatment
As a complement, detoxifying heat treatments or cold treatments can be added to hydrate and seal the skin.
Follow-up treatment using radiofrequency therapy, which stimulates the skin’s collagen to regenerate, is also highly recommended. This first-class anti-aging procedure has a rapid rejuvenating effect.
